“Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou? (Ecclesiastes 8:4)
Is the Word within us? Do we know it, accept it, embrace it, speak it, BELIEVE IT? As Christians, there is Nothing More Important than the Word, (Jesus), living within us!
Where the Word of the King is, there is power! Read it again, understand the simple sovereign truth. Where the King’s word is there is Power!
God spoke everything into existence…(Genisis 1) We must Repent and Confess to be saved. (Romans 10:9 -10) “If ye shall ask anything in My Name I will do it.” (John 14:14)
We sing and Praise the Power of the Blood, and that is Great. We could not be In Him if not for the Power and covering of the Blood.
We mavel at His Mercy and Grace, His Love, Peace keep us wraped in His arms, knowing and understanding His presence.
But the Power, our Power the Power that He has put under our control, is in the Word of the King:
“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” (Hebrew 11:3)
When we speak of Power, we are speaking of Energy. Energy can and should be controlled. We make dams to control the river and to create energy for electricity.
It is the same with many things we just need to combine these invisible substances to be blessed with the results. Jesus says we can do this with words, His Words:
“Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” (Mark 11:22b-23)
If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea, and it should obey you. ( Luke 17:6)
Why is it that believers have the Faith to beleave in Salvation but this other supernatural stuff, (Oh man), we need to learn to see and believe in Miracles, Signs, and Wonders?
God give us the Faith to believe (Salvation), we just need to ask.
“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according to as God hath dealt with every man the measure of faith. (Romans 12:3)
The Faith to be saved is given to everyman, it is up to us grow that faith to walk with the Lord.
‘Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.’ (Jude 1:3)
‘But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost’ (Jude 1:20)
We must reach up on the shelve and ask the Lord for the Holy Spirits’ direction, He will teach us all we need to know. We can and will grow into the Christian Warriors we were meant to be.
The Word of the King resides within! We must nurture and allow it to grow within us. Allow Jesus to become the driving force of our lives. The Holy Spirit will Guide, Direct, and Protect us as we draw closer to Him.

PANTS? We don’t need no stinking pants… bill theunfetteredpreacher cote
I have had a time this year. In February I noticed a spot on my leg. My wife insisted a trip to Dr.
The spot was troubling, but the Dr was more interested in my Congestive Heart Failure. Hospital time 1.
We discovered I had Pulmonary Hypertension.
My heart had plenty of good air and blood going in but it was not able to send it out to the next area it was to service.
Finally, I understood why I would need to stop and rest do often. I had no energy or ambition.
Meanwhile, the little spot on my leg kept changing.
It was no longer a simple Red spot. On one leg. No, it was on both legs. A black scab that continued growth.
Well, the pants came off, it hurt, both legs had this growing black death, you could hardly look at it, without it hurting. Any thoughts of working, long gone.
That is when my daughter and wife mentioned my wardrobe.
I told them I was styling so I could go out in public (Walmart), and for right in.
So we are styling, I don’t seem to be good for much else at this point.
SO PANTS? WE DON’T NEED ANY STINKING PANTS!!!

The Palestinians are all upset that Israel fights back. When attacked they retaliate, and Palestinians die.
Surprise, surprise, surprise! You learn something new every day.
A disorganized rag tag bunch against a well trained army. Wow!
We haven’t seen a victory for a small group of rebels since the American revolution, and we, at that time, had God on our side.
In the middle east God is clearly, with Israel.
I do not believe Israel is infringing on the human rights of the Palestinians. They are free to own property, work and recreate wherever and whenever they please.
They want their own country, I understand. I believe they have been offered and have rejected many ways and plans to achieve this end.
They’ve rejected all offers because they’re real agenda is to remove Israel from existence.
Now, to what needs to be said, here in America:
Here in the US, we have our own rag tag bunch of revolutionarys.
Unlike Israel, our revolutionarys are not seeking a new country. (I don’t think), but they do want to remove our government, police departments and any other hindrance to what they might desire.
They do not understand economic policies, and believe everything could and should be free. The man that has worked tirelessly to build his business has no right to a profit. That money should be shared with those who have not worked.
No our Revolutionaries, are part of our government. They are the Liberal members of the Democratic Party, and they are not alone.
They are joined by several terrorist groups, including but not confined to AnTiFa, and BLM. Both of these groups are not just anti-American, but also anti-∅Law Enforcement.
They demand, that we reject our history, be ashamed of our whiteness, and bow down to their every whim and cry. Their desires and happiness are all that matters.
AnTiFa and BLM can and do kill each other, (no problem). But let a police officer kill a black man, even one, in the midst of a horrible crime; and riots, unrest, and trouble follow.
They Steal, Kill and Destroy, but we must stand back and allow them to hurt the rest of us. They also want us to agree with the lie that Bob is transforming into Betty and call him her.
I refuse to humor their mental illness, a boy, is a boy, is a boy, even if he disfigures himself. No thank you, we never should have closed the old State Hospitals for the mentally disturbed. We need them today!
I am concerned that the American way, the American dream, that America itself, is in danger of losing to the Socialist mindset!
We can not allow those who do not understand how the economy works, how law and order keep us safe, who understand not, that we must have Moral, Godly, Strong Leadership. (The Leader may be rude, seem to be mean, and immovable, and still, be just what we need.
We do not have to be seen to hate world leaders we do not agree with, but the smart man never shows publicly, how he feels, yet, the other leader knows where he stands. (Russia and Korea both, sat back and behaved.).

“LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:” (Psalm 10:17)
Our Desires. What are your desires? They can be many and varied.
Many of us think first, of carnal worldly things. Cars, homes, food, physical and financial health. A special Companion to love, and to peacefully exist.
All these things are fine, but should they be at the top of our list?
Are you thinking short or long term? So far my goals and thinking in life have been centered on today. Earning a living, meeting today’s needs.
Which, by the way, was one of the Lord’s commands when they entered the promised land, and also taught, in the Lord’s prayer. (Exodus 16:4; Matthew 6:34)
I guess I didn’t think that I would grow old, like the rest of humanity.
No plans for retirement, no insurance, no savings, 401k, or any other safety net.
That has brought me here. Old and not able to continue working. Yet, I am at peace.
Out of work, broke, hurting, filled with the knowledge that my only hope is God.
My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus and His Righteousness!
Have I been an obedient servant or a fool? I wish it was a servant, but the first half of my life I wasn’t concerned with the things of God.
This second half has been very different. I accepted Jesus as both Lord and Savior. Many Want the savior, it is harder to let Him be Lord.
It is amazing, how with our eyes on Him our desires change. The Worlds riches are not as attractive.
I have learned, we MUST STAND FAST ON HIS WORD! It is the Word that conveys the Power and Grace of God.
God spoke the world into existence and told us to Believe and Confess. Speaking, confessing is important for our Salvation. (Romans 10:9-10)
So our Desires should be changed as we walk with the Lord.
“Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” (Psalm 37:4)

To Build Christs Church: bill theunfetteredpreacher cote
It seems we have churches on every corner of every street, for every mood, whim, or desire of the people.
Saints, this is a problem. Some of us follow John, others follow Joel, Franklin, or Benny, some maybe even follow Barney from Mayberry.
We have Baptist, Catholic, Methodist, Episcopal, and on and on it goes.
WHERE ARE JESUS’S FOLLOWERS?
I am a Christian, I joined HIS Chuch the day I gave my life to the Lord. HIS CHURCH, I see no need of another.
I do need Fellowship and Biblical Teachings, people to pray and counsel with, but not a denominational connection.
The Bible has not changed, but our understanding, our looking through the glass becomes focused on today’s needs and priorities.
We find our understanding enlightened, expanding as we grow in the Lord.
So let us get back to why a church on every corner for all our priorities and carnal desires.
WHOSE CHURCH IS IT?
Is it the biggest donors, the loudest crybabies, the most disagreeable, or maybe we have gone, the other way?
We have a great communicator, charismatic leadership, a wonderful music ministry, unparalleled children’s church.
Woman’s groups, home groups, study pods, soft comfy chairs, good video all that contemporary conveniences you could ask for.
That is the problem! Where is the Lord?
What we want. That is the problem. It is not our church! We must learn, it is the LORDS CHURCH!
We need to do things His way.
He gave us the directions, the tools, the Godly leadership, and wisdom to build His Church. Why are we building our church?
The Ministry Gifts (1 Corinthians 12; Romans 4; Ephesians 4) He promised are all we need, in Him, to be successful and triumphant. The Holy Spirit will guide and direct us.
We must take them off the shelf, study to show ourselves approved, and learn which ones the Lord has for us today.
The problem is, some of these Gifts can be duplicated and executed by man.
Many Teach, Preach, Sing, and Play instruments, because they practiced, studied, worked, and made themselves successful in that endeavor. They are the people we turn to lead our church.
Should any of these people be leading Christ’s Church? That depends on Their position in the body of Christ.
I believe many churches are built by the Entertainment division of the Ministry.
We need to look deeper, to use the Spiritual Gifts to understand who is working in them, or are they working under their human powers.
Are you ready to Be led by the Lord? To leave the comforts and security. To reach out and allow the Lord to bring you into a closer walk?
“Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.” (Psalm, 65:4)
This promise needs to be seen, considered, understood, and believed. The Promise of God is yes and for us. (Acts 2:39; 2 Corinthians 1:20; Deuteronomy 29:29)

Our Daily Bread: theunfetteredpreacher
The Lord taught us to pray for our Daily Bread. (Not weekly, monthly, or yearly bread).
Sufficient today is the evil thereof. (Matthew 6:34)
Why Daily? If we look at the first mention of just enough, look to Exodus 16:4.
‘Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.’ – (Exodus 16:4)
Why? To prove them, to see who would walk in His ways. Many tried to save for tomorrow. (Went Bad, smelled and worms),
Some did not gather enough on the sixth day, so they were short. They looked on the 7th, they were not supposed to work on the Sabbath. (Collect Manna)
It is a simple concept. My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Phillippians 4:19)
Do we trust Him. Really? We will see.

The Hollow Promises: theunfetteredpreacher.com
Have you spent time chasing the Hollow Promises, of this life?
You know what I mean.
Fame, Fortune, Love, Pleasure. All the things that we could ever want, desire, need or even imagine.
Many spend whole lives chasing after these Promises, to gain much in material possessions, only to lose that which is truly important.
So if the things we seek are hollow, meaningless, even worthless? What? Should we be seeking?
Many believe a loving God will not send them to hell, the good in their lives outweighs the bad.
I pay my taxes, the government takes care of the poor. I plan for and prepare for my future.
I go to church, sing in the choir, serve on all the important boards and committees.
None of that matters! WE WERE CREATED FOR ONE PURPOSE! To walk, talk fellowship and please God.
‘Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure, they are and were created.’ (Revelation 4:11)
How do we give Him Pleasure? True Praise. Singing, speaking, and meditation on His Word and ways.
I realize that in my life, lately, I have not gotten or given God much pleasure.
I have missed the mark of the High Calling of God. I have allowed pain and probably fear steal my joy,
I am blessed at this point, Bette has become a wonderful caregiver.
She has gotten my pain pills on an almost tolerable schedule. Pain is there but not quite unbearable.
I must learn to praise, worship, and walk-in faith. Death itself is not a concern.
My trust must be in the Lord to take care of Bette and Celeste. Knowing that He will do a better job than I, any day.
So Praise, Sing, Worship, focus on Him, not myself. Rest in Him, which is the first job man had.
Man was created and then rested. Look to the Lord, from whence comes our help.
Worship happens as the Lord begins to show Himself strong, and we experience His presence.
That is when we see and become one with Him.

A Seedless Society: test theunfetteredpreacher
I have grown to love, seedless watermelons and grapes, headless shrimp, lazy lobster, boneless ribs, and shelled crabs. Mmm, mmm good. (Almost as good as pb&j).
It’s work to deal with seeds, shells, heads, and ribs. We want to be, satisfied, quickly and effortlessly. (Less work, more fun). Who wants to deal with seeds?
At one time, eating in a restaurant was special, costly and a status cymbal. When I was growing up, it was even a special treat to go to the first fast food place in a neighboring town.
By the time my daughter was born, there was fast food on every corner, and eating out was the norm. It has overtaken and changed our culture.
Now the poorer we are, the more we eat out. Cheaply, quickly and constantly. It is quicker and easier to get something already prepared, then assemble the ingredients and do it ourselves.
It’s not just-food. It’s all of our existence. Our microwave lifestyles, always in a hurry. No time to savor and enjoy food, companions, reading, or just peace and quiet.
We need Seeds to reproduce, to continue to grow and survive. We have gone seedless.
We live a seedless Gospel, go to seedless church services, and spout seedless words. I believe we are seeing the Church dying away, because the seed we do have is some kind of hybrid, it isn’t the Good News of Christ anymore.
There are a lot of rituals and doctrines that aren’t bad, just not necessary. Music that is ok, but doesn’t lift Jesus higher, or draw us closer to Him. Preaching that doesn’t quicken us to action.
I believe it is a hindrance to the Holy Spirit, so much he replaced the Seed of the Gospel.
“Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:” (1 Corinthians 15: 36).
“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” (Philippians 1:21)
For the Holy Spirit to work within us we need to know: how to be Quickened, and for that to happen, we need to walk with Christ.
We must Sow the Seeds of a New, Quickened Life. A life is given to serving and loving our Lord, Jesus Christ, and allowing Him to shine forth.
“They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” (Psalm 126:5-6)
When we learn to sow, we will see the increase in our churches. We must quit sowing a seedless Gospel.
The Gospel requires repentance, confession, obedience, holiness, mercy, and grace.
In Romans 15, we read the Full Gospel includes signs, wonders, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Is it time? Is my show on? Can we go swimming now? Is it time to pack for our trip? Are you about ready to go? Are we having desert?
How often have we heard this question, or asked it of ourselves?
Am I ready to do the presentation? Are my Ducks in a row? My Worms in the can? The Monkeys in their cages? Does the Dog have his bone?
Is It Time? Do we really have to go back to work, (after vacation)? Is It Time, to do the chores, wash the car, mow the lawn?
Is It Time???? IS IT TIME???
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8)
IS IT TIME? Has become the most pressing question in my life!
Not for the time, and activities available, people to meet, work with, and have Fellowship with. No nothing so important. It is a simple question:
Yes or No? Which is it? IS IT TIME???
The time that most concerns me is: ‘CAN I GET SOME PAN PILLS NOW? IS IT TIME?
Often, too often it is not yet time. Help Lord, Please. Give me Grace, Mercy, Wisdom, and the stone to stand proud, fast, and ready.

To Love the Lord, IS THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM!
My Love:
I fell in love the day I met her. We have been married since 1985. Have there been bumps in the road? In 35 years? What do you think?
Divorce not an option! Murder????
When I married her she had some health issues I willingly ignored and decided to worry about later. I was healthy. Who knew?
It turned out that she is caring for me as I was once sure I would be for her. (You never know the curve the ball of life will take.)
I have never been so spoiled in my life. She has turned into Florence Nightingale. I am very concerned that she is going to hurt herself while looking after me..
We soon need to sell our house, downsize, and be ready for any eventuality. We believe that by His stripes we are healed, while also juggling with our carnal minds.
She is full of Faith and Power. We both believe, but she is the Warrior I wish I was.
She has shown love beyond all I expect, except from the Lord. She cares for my smallest needs and desires, she meets me where I am.
I will forever thank the Lord for this woman’s love.

One Ray of Light: bill theunfetteredpreacher cote
As we navigate this crazy world, we need to look at the Wisdom that came before.
The Preacher, the Wisdom of the ages, God’s plans and desires explained and exposed. Mankind lifted above the ignorance and fear of the unknown. We must search.
‘I applied mine heart to know, and to search, and to seek out wisdom, and the reason of things, and to know the wickedness of folly, even of foolishness and madness:’ (Ecclesiastes 7:25)
“Yet I did spot one ray of light in this murk: God made men and women true and upright; we’re the ones who’ve made a mess of things.“ (Ecclesiastes 7:29 The Message)
The light overpowers the darkness! ‘GOD MADE MAN UPRIGHT!’ This simple truth brings us to the Wisdom of the Ages. It is man and man alone who has made the mess we are in.
We cannot blame the woman, (our first response), the evil one, (still not the right response), only ourselves, our free wills.
The Lord gave us the ability to accept or reject His perfect plan and we have chosen our path.
Our decisions have brought us to where we are today, and to this other simple truth.
Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. (Ecclesiastes 7:8)
‘BETTER IS THE END OF A THING!’
This is where I am living today. Is it the end? Am I physically about finished? Maybe, who knows? It is quite possible. Am I prepared? Yes!
My love and trust is in the Lord, and He has promised: “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” (Isaiah 26:3)
How long a life
So the outcome is out of my hands. The peace that God promises is a peace that passes all understanding, all we are required to do is to trust, (rely upon, belief, walk, understand and obey), the simple directions of the Lord.
One thing we fail to realize, the Lord asks very little of us: In Exodus 16 we find some of His first instructions. ‘Collect only enough manna to fulfill your needs TODAY. We often insist we must plan for the future.
Man’s plans are never in line with God’s perfect road map for our lives. He would rather we watch and pray. We desire mental, physical, and emotional movement. Something where we can say look what we did.
The Lord wants the Glory, Honor, and Praise! He is not one to share in this.
He is the Creator, the Supreme Ruler, the Almighty God. Ruler, King, Dictator, and ultimate lover of mankind.
Am I at the end of this time on earth? I sometimes pray that the pain would leave. That the true and perfect peace would find and engulf me.
In the last few years:
Arthritis- pain, uncomfortable, with the Lord, I walked. it through. Pain, and complain.
CHF- Congestive Heart Failure, not so much fun. Mainly out of it little to report. In Hospital for here come.
Stage 4 Renal Failure- Kidney failure, again mostly out of it. Nothing to share.
Pulmonary Hypertension- Interesting, the heart is unable to deliver fresh air and blood to the lungs. Not able to work or do much of anything. I feel good as long as I am stationary.
Calciphylaxis- My current complaint. Pain, cannot think, walk, talk. I cannot and do not enjoy any aspect of life.
So yes, the End will Certainly be better than the beginning.

In this, the shortest month of the year, (February), I find myself in the hospital for the second time.
I had scratched my leg, (it was itching,) and low and behold it began to hurt.
I showed my sweet wife and she immediately called the Dr and I ended up here for 4 days.
No, not because of the leg.
I had Congestive Heart Failure, due, I later found out because of Pulmonary Hypertension.
A vain in my heart was closed up and would not allow blood and oxygen to flow freely to my lungs.
Shortness of breath, weakened body, just wanted to sleep all the time. Was the result.
They successfully got the fluid out of my lungs, (but I still have fluid in my belly).
My kidney ( I only have one,) Dr Doesn’t want me taking anymore water pills, so it looks like it will be a needle in my belly to drain. (Oh Boy!)
I was home for a while and the sore leg now, is swollen and extremely painful.
Back to the hospital 13 hours ago for another 3 or 4 days. (? We will see)
I really wanted to point out and apologize to my night nurse. The pain meds I received only made me painless for a couple of hours.
I had hoped for much longer.
She is wonderful and forgiving of my short temper and fixed me up as soon as she could.
I read letters to our local Newspaper, ‘The Carteret News-Times,’ and often it is compaints.
Not from me though, I have been blessed every time I have had to stay here.
Clean, professional, caring, knowledgeable and pleasent staff. From the maintenance people to the Nurses and Drs.
I give it a 5 star rating for bed, breakfast and recuperation.
I also want to thank Dr Davis and his staff for wonderful care. I am so blessed!

We hold this truth from Hebrews 6:18.
“These two things cannot change: God cannot lie when he makes a promise, and he cannot lie when he makes an oath.“
We need to understand just what the Lord is saying to His Church, in the following scriptures:
Hebrews 6:1-3
“Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of the resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
And this will we do, if God permit.”
For many years I would read this and think; What? That’s not right? What’s this about? That’s ridiculous? Leave the principles of the Doctrine? Then go on to perfection? How dumb is that?
Until it was revealed:
It was a Tuesday morning Men’s group, led by my friend Pastor Nelson Hopkins, (He does a Sunday morning service online), from Impact Church in Morehead City, NC. He is a man of Wisdom and Faith, (catch him if you can, you will not regret it).
Anyway, the word isn’t saying throw out the Doctrine, but to get deeper into the Word. Go beyond the milk and find the meat to chew on.
We know the Doctrine, the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of the resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
There is no need to go over it weekly, the Bible is full of truths to find. We should continue to grow. Sadly, some churches are tied to the Lectionary instead of the Bible.
It is a good thing to have available, but we should live by the Word, not the programs of man. (The Lectionary)
Hebrews 6:4-6
For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.”
Does this scripture apply to us all? In some ways yes.
As Christians we have been enlightened, we have tasted the heavenly gift of Forgiveness, we are Blameless in the Beloved. Yet there is much more than many believers fail to aspire to.
We are not taught how to partake of the Holy Spirit. The Gifts of the Spirit are available to any who will accept them. (1 Corinthians 12-14; Romans 12; Ephesians 4) We receive these Gifts when we ask and then receive that which the Lord desires us to have.
The Gift of Faith, of Healings, of Miracles. The problem, (what has frightened us), is the Gift of Tongues and Interpretation, probably the first and easiest of the Gifts the Lord would have us walk in. (Acts 2 is an example). We must be Christians to receive the Gifts.
Since it is a Gift that brings great joy as we experience our prayer language, many abused and failed to realize they control the Gifts and not the Gifts controlling us.
It is only after the Gifts are active in our lives. Jesus was baptized in the Holy Spirit, as He was Baptized in water, an act of obedience, for both Him and us. We should be Baptized in obedience of the Word, not of Repentance. Our focus needs to be aligned.
Believe and be Baptized. That is our charge. Once we experience the Power of the Holy Spirit the rest of the scripture becomes reality. We do not seek the Gifts, we do not believe we are Worthy to Work and live in them.
The Gifts are the tools the Lord gave us to build the Church, In the Old Testament, they showed God’s power and love. In the new Testament, it brought people to hear the Word of the Lord. It will do the same today.
Like the Hebrews of old, the Gifts are the straw that makes the building strong. Without the Gifts, we are building with hot air, we are not giving the people a chance to see, know, consider and understand that Jesus is God. (Isaiah 40:20)
